Quiet· Li Yuan Book House

There is a unique and elegant library near the mountains in Huairou Town, a suburb of Beijing& Flash; The Li Yuan Bookstore was designed by Chinese designer Li Xiaodong, with a design concept aimed at blending with nature. The total construction area of the Li Yuan Book House is about 170 square meters, with two floors in some areas. It adopts a steel and wood structure, and the outer walls are stacked and built with shrubs used by local villagers for burning. The wooden outer walls reduce the weight of the building and make the book house full of a book atmosphere.

In addition, the entire building has excellent transparency, allowing readers to feel the sunlight while reading. Outside the study, there is also a space enclosed by waterfront boardwalks, cobblestone paving, and fences, creating a serene scenery.

Solitude· Sanlian Bookstore Seaside Public Welfare Library

There is such a library in Nandaihe, Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province. It is the seaside public library of Sanlian Bookstore. It is designed by Dong Gong, a Chinese designer, with a total floor area of about 450 square meters. The main body is a two-story reading room with stepped seats. The sea facing side is a large french window. At the same time, it also includes meditation room, activity room and other facilities.
In addition, the entire building emphasizes the use of natural light, with glass skylights as the light tube. The water and electricity lines are also not exposed and are pre buried underground, equipped with dehumidification equipment.

Unique· Binglin Library

The Binglin Library is located in the Dushu Lake Campus of Suzhou University, with a total construction area of 32000 square meters and a height of 39.6 meters. It has 8 floors above ground and 1 floor underground, including the main library, consultation desk, coffee bar, exhibition hall, reading room, office area, etc., and can collect 750000 books.
The library was designed by the Architectural Design Institute of Tongji University in Shanghai, with a unique appearance in the shape of lotus petals. The atrium is hollowed out on more than two floors. The entire building adopts an intelligent management system with advanced control level, fully reflecting integrated centralized management.

Long established&middle; St. Gallen Abbey Library

The St. Gallen Monastery Library is the oldest library in Switzerland and one of the oldest and most diverse monastery libraries in the world. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. The library is located in Saint Gallen, eastern Switzerland, with a total collection of 160000 books, and its virtual digital library holds 478 digital manuscripts.

The entire building is divided into two open floors. The bookshelves and floors inside the museum are all inlaid with deep reddish brown walnut wood, and the dome paintings and walnut wood colors complement each other. The entire building is integrated and sacred. The staircase leading to the second floor is located in a hidden area, and the corridor adopts a large curvature and concave convex curve. Novelty· Library of the Language School of the Free University of Berlin

The Library of the Language School of the Free University of Berlin was designed by the Foster+Partners design team and has a semi-circular shape, known as the "brain of Berlin". The entire building structure is supported by steel reinforcement, and the steel structure space frame is painted bright yellow. The outer facade is interspersed with silver plated aluminum panels and shading glass with air holes.
